Ashley Michelle Tisdale egy ameriakai színésznő/énekesnő. Karrierje már az 1990-es években beindult. Ám 2000 körül vált ismertté Maddie-ként, később pedig a High School Musical Sharpay-jaként. Zenei karrierje is felfelé ível. 2007. február 6-án adta ki debütáló albumát, a Headstrongot. Az 1990-es évek folyamán több tv-s sorozatban is feltűnt. A HSM-ben (High School Musicalban) Ashley először Gabriella Montez szerepére jelentkezett, ám úgy gondolták Sharpay szerepére illik jobban. A filmben több dalt is hallhatunk tőle. Megjelent a HSM 2. része is ami még nagyobb sikert aratott. Majd a 3. rész ami a legnagyobb sikert aratta. Mind 3 részben Sharpay Evens szerepét játszotta. Első albuma 2007. február 6-án jelent meg, Headstong névvel. A kiadó a Warner Bros volt. Az album 5. helyen állt a Billboard 200 listáján. 64.000 másolatot adtak el belőle.
Több vendékszerepet kapott.
2002-ben főszerepet játszott egy reklámban. Ezenkívül egy T-Mobile reklámban is feltűnt Ashley később már a The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Maddie-jeként szerepelt és a Disney csatorna nagy sztárja lett. Azután újra elkápráztathatott bennünket az Disney Channel Original Movie, High School Musical című filmjében, Sharpay megformálásával.
